Forklift Water Pumps - Attached to the engine's crankshaft; the water pump is a simple centrifugal pump which is driven by a belt. The pump then circulates fluid whenever the engine is running.
Using centrifugal force, the water pump sends water to the outside while it rotates causing the fluid to be continually drawn from the center of the pump. The pump inlet is placed near the center. This design allows fluid coming back from the radiator to hit the pump vanes. The pump vanes are strategically located to be able to fling the fluid outside of the pump so it enters the engine.
The fluid primarily flows throughout the cylinder head and engine block before going out of the pump. Then the fluid goes into the radiator before finally coming back to the pump.
