At Hyster, we recognize that each and every application requirement and work environment can differ. We have customers in a huge range of industries that inspire us to offer a very diverse variety of materials handling product solutions. No matter what the environmental conditions are or what your business is we have a machinery to get jobs done efficiently and suit your needs. We have established trusting relationships between service, production and marketing teams so that we can assure you that all equipment are built to the highest quality standards and that you would receive the continuous support you need when you have a Hyster machine on your work site.

From the initial concept and design to the production and sale of the product, every product that Hyster markets will go through a nine stage development process. Each stage of the development process has been established to ensure product quality over the machine's lifetime. Hyster testing centers are able to simulate the life cycle of a forklift in order to ensure that the machinery lasts and that it performs as designed.

To be sure that we know what all our customers actually want, Hyster performs a great deal of research about client requirements. All this research is then applied to the products design. Designs are built using cutting edge computer aided design techniques which help to lessen the risk of weak points and make certain that positioning of every component is optimal for both performance and servicing needs. Prototypes are then built in cooperation with specialists and experts in compartment design and ergonomics. Each component and prototype is put through rigorous life cycle testing to find and correct any problems which may reduce the life of a machine or a component to a less than optimal level. When a machinery comes out of the testing stage of development, we would like to be sure that it would work to a high standard. Testing in real life settings is also carried out so that we could collect more data on the machine's performance and be confident that it would meet the standards required to finish the job.
